Erin!
Meet the owner,
“Custom! It’s the only way I know how to be!”
Here’s a little about myself – I graduated from Johnson & Wales University in Charleston, SC in 2001 with an Associates in Culinary Arts. Upon moving back to Charlotte the following year, I became the Executive Caterer for a research firm for almost 5 years before moving into Catering Sales at a large hotel in South Charlotte. I worked my way up the ranks there for nearly 9 years when I decided to become an Entrepreneur and start Event Revelry Design in early 2014 before establishing The Spirited Pony mobile bar in 2021.
After attending a vendor event at a barn venue not far from my home, I was given the opportunity to take over and run it in 2018. I started researching new ideas for bar concepts, and a '2 horse bumper pull' mobile bar fit perfectly with the barn theme. In the summer of 2019, we found our ugly red trailer in Georgia and drove down to get her. After almost 2 years, working with a fabricator in Spartanburg, and a Pandemic, in April 2021 we finally brought her back to the Upstate for service!
The Spirited Pony mobile bar began as a 1970’s two-horse “Bumper Pull” and former goat transporter from Georgia, but we saw something more in it. After two years of designing and renovation, we transformed that old trailer into an amazing mobile bar that brings lots of fun to any party! Guests love the novelty and rustic charm that the Spirited Pony brings to events. We have the ability to serve up to 150 people with client-provided alcohol. With custom trough seating and décor to accompany our set up, our mobile bar has become a must-have for any event!
